Indoor Operations Coordinator - Japan

 Job Description:  

  • Oversee all aspects of simulator installations in Japan from confirmation of design phase to completion of installation.  

  • Main point of contact for Client, Contractor, and Electrician/AV Team to ensure space is built to specifications and all pre-installation requirements are met. Answering emails, calls and having a regular meetings   

  • Help the discussion on bay design and components consultation between client and contractor. Travel onsite for site survey if required.  

  • Provide technical support to all Sales Representatives regarding specifications and product requirements during sales activities. 

  • Execute design calls with all stakeholders to outline expectations, confirm scope of work and dimensions to ensure seamless installation.  

  • Provide technical consultation for a hardware device and approve the location of TM(TM4 and iO), outlet and projector etc. to proceed for flawless installation, and make sure those are aligned with client’s vision. 

  • Work closely with procurement and logistics for each project ensuring pricing and scope of work align with signed Purchase Agreement. 

  • Standardize the process and hardware requirements to ensure the quality of indoor facility  

  • Support external partners during week of installation to ensure design of simulator is being executed properly.  

  • Coordination of the schedule for 3rd parties and business partners. 

  • Quality control of sim hardware components. 

  • Hold weekly/bi-weekly calls with stakeholders (Sales, operations, contractors and external partners) to schedule site visits and receive feedback from the field as well as make sure their work is being maintained high.  

  • Monthly travel to execute site visits and meetings if necessary. 

Requirements

Job requirements: 

  • Education in Construction, Business or Project Management. 

  • 3+ years Construction experience. 

  • Works experience in golf industry  

  • Full driver’s license. 

  • Personal drive, self-starter with demonstrated willingness to go the extra mile. 

  • Build and maintain relationships easily. 

  • Excellent communication skills. 

  • Manage your own time effectively and efficiently. 

  • Analyse problems and provides well-thought-through solutions. 

  • Does not let anything slip through the cracks (attention to details). 

  • Consider other’s views and demonstrates listening skills. 

 

Preferably:  

  • Japanese Language: native level in reading, writing, and speaking 

  • English Language: comfortable in reading, writing, and speaking 

  • Works experience in the local golf industry  

  • Experience in using Google Sketch-up or CAD. 

  • Experience in using Monday.com. 

  • Advanced computer skills: Windows 11, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce
