Job Description:  

  • On-Tour Support: Attend tournaments to set up and operate Trackman systems for professional players and coaches during practice rounds and events

  • Training & Demonstrations: Educate players, caddies, and coaches on using Trackman technology to enhance performance, providing hands-on training and support

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Offer real-time assistance to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless operation during events

  • Data Analysis & Feedback: Collaborate with players and their teams to interpret data and provide actionable insights for improvement

  • Share feedback with Trackman’s development team to drive product enhancements

  • Relationship Management: Build trust and maintain relationships with professional players, their teams, and tour officials to reinforce Trackman’s reputation as the go-to performance solution

  • Travel: Represent Trackman at tournaments worldwide, with frequent travel and irregular working hours to meet the demands of tour life. 

Requirements

Job requirements: 

  • Golf Expertise: In-depth understanding of the professional game, player routines, and the dynamics of tournament environments

  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to quickly learn and explain complex technology, with experience using Trackman or similar performance tools being a plus

  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to connect effectively with high-profile athletes and their teams

  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Calm under pressure with the ability to troubleshoot and find solutions in dynamic, fast-paced settings

  • Professionalism: Discretion and reliability when working closely with elite players and teams

  • Education & Experience: Background in sports science, technology, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory. Prior experience in a golf-related role is highly desirable

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively and work non-standard hours

 

Preferably:  

  • Japanese Language: native level in reading, writing, and speaking

  • English Language: comfortable in reading, writing, and speaking

  • A strong network in the local golf industry 

  • Experience in developing and applying sales and marketing strategies

  • Advanced computer skills: Windows 11, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce
