TRACKMAN IS LOOKING FOR A SENIOR RF ENGINEER

We can offer you an exciting opportunity in our hardware team. At Trackman we are growing, as we are constantly striving to further develop, produce and deploy our market leading sport tracking solutions. These new products are based on multi sensor technology including high frequency radar and high end vision technology - we are therefore looking for an experienced and highly motivated radio frequency engineer for radar product design.


Are you our new RF engineer?

You will have a close working relationship with our talented RF- & microwave engineers in R&D hardware, tracking, and software, as well as colleagues from our in-house production, sourcing, and management. You will have the opportunity to engage with various RF technologies in both high and low volume.


What will you be doing?

  • Working on the development of our next generation flagship radar technology!
  • Working with all phases of the product development process from concept, design, system integration, validation, maturation and documentation in order to deliver on customer expectations, desired quality, at the right time and unit cost.
  • Drive the Radar and RF design on an innovative basis, exploring the newest technologies, components and parts
  • Be up to date with trends and technology within RF and Microwave components and systems.
  • Link budget and system calculations calculations.
  • Complete RF design simulations incl antenna simulations (X-band and k-band).
  • Hardware Design Specifications, schematics, and oversee layouts of multi-layer PCBs containing analog, RF and antenna subsystems.
  • Development of RF circuits, implementation of Power Amplifiers, LNAs, Combiners, Mixers, Switches, and more.
  • Design of Analog electronics IF amplifiers and AD-Converters.
  • Patch Antenna design and measurement
  • Understanding of and interest in signal analysis and signal processing
  • Working closely together with algorithm and modelling team during product development and verification
  • Working with high-end RF measurement instruments.
  • Creating/updating revision controlled documentation of own work in our PDM system (Arena).
  • Whenever required, assist PTA in problem solving for issues arising in production and/or calibration.
  • Defining test requirements and specification ensuring right quality of products.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum B.Sc/Eng. In electrical engineering, within RF /Micro-Wave technology engineering.
  • 5+ years’ experience from high-end products and design-for-manufacture.
  • Advanced user of relevant lab test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, spectrum-analyzer, network analyzer, etc.)
  • Experience with Microwave circuit simulation tools.
  • Python scripting and data analysis
  • Solid theoretical background within microwave technology and ability and interest in adapting to practical implementation.


Preferable:

  • Understanding of how regulatory standards impacts on design choices.
  • Experience with production of high-performance microwave circuits and systems.
  • Strong proficiency in communication, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • You’re a team worker with good social skills and routine in dealing with colleagues, as well as internal- and external customers.
